Refund policy

At Nostalgi Factory, every order is handmade with care. Because many of our products are personalized or made to order, our return and refund policy is designed to be fair while protecting custom work.

Customized & Personalized Items

All personalized, customized, and made-to-order items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged unless the item arrives damaged or incorrect due to our mistake.

This includes items with:

  • Names

  • Dates

  • Memorial details

  • Business information

  • Custom wording

  • Custom colors

  • Cultural designs

  • Customer-requested modifications

Please review all personalization details carefully before placing your order.

Standard Non-Custom Items

For non-personalized items, we accept returns within 30 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return, the item must be:

  • Unused

  • In its original condition

  • In its original packaging

  • Accompanied by proof of purchase

Return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility unless the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect due to our mistake.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

Please inspect your order when it arrives. If your item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 5 days of delivery.

Please include:

  • Your order number

  • Clear photos of the item

  • Photos of the packaging

  • A photo of the shipping label, if possible

  • A brief description of the issue

Once reviewed, we will offer the best solution, which may include a replacement or refund depending on the situation.

For memorial or time-sensitive orders, we do our best to resolve the issue as quickly and compassionately as possible.

Handmade Product Notice

Because our decals and products are handmade, slight variations in color, placement, sizing, or finish may occur. These small variations are not considered defects.

Lost, Missing, or Delivered Packages

Once a package is marked “Delivered” by the shipping carrier, Nostalgi Factory is not responsible for lost, stolen, or misplaced packages.

If your tracking shows delivered but you have not received the package, please check with your local post office, neighbors, household members, or building/mailroom first. We can provide tracking information to help you file a claim with the carrier if needed.

How to Start a Return

Returns must be approved before being sent back. Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.

If your return is approved, we will provide instructions on how and where to send your package. If the return is due to our mistake, we will provide a return shipping label.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your approved return, we will notify you whether the refund has been approved.

If approved, the refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that your bank or credit card company may take additional time to process and post the refund.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges for personalized or made-to-order items.

For non-custom items, the fastest way to receive a different item is to return the original item if eligible and place a new order.

Sale Items & Gift Cards

Sale items and gift cards are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded.

European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order is being shipped to the European Union, you may have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason.

This does not apply to personalized, custom-made, or made-to-order items, unless the item arrives damaged or incorrect due to our mistake.

Eligible items must be unused, in their original condition, and returned in their original packaging with proof of purchase.
